magnificent work, Travis.

I hope the next album sounds like track 1, for what it's worth.

I've been doing my best to not listen, but this should be so good. Great review.

Great one, Travis.

Quote:
Though it’s only four tracks long, each song seems poised at the brink, looking over its shoulder to say, “Maybe this is the way,” before jumping headlong into the future. Each one is produced with sparse perfection and ragged edges, like pages ripped out of your favorite novel. It’s comfortably familiar and yet infinitely interesting.

This.

Awesome review, but the auto-tune thing was used in For Emma... most noteably on The Wolves, obviously not to this extent though. Great EP and review, though.

I was listening to this at my friend's house who got this on vinyl. It's chillingly good.

Auto-tune isn't a new revelation for Bon Iver, though, is it? Didn't he use a few flourishes on Wolves?

I really loved this EP, but of course the full length was much better.

definitely true, on both accounts. i should've said "exclusive use of auto-tune" to clarify the extent to which it's used in the track. cheers~
