Recommendation of the Week

Although they had to cut it short, The Abominable Iron Sloth recently trekked across the country from their west coast homes to see the inauguration of Barack Obama while on tour. I caught them one night, and despite the members both recovering from recent illnesses, they put on a powerful two-man performance. The play heavy doom/sludge; if a doomed down version of Will Haven sounds appealing to you, check out The Sloth here.

I'm liking the new Cannibal Corpse but that Flatline album is so generic that it gets boring after 1-2 songs.

Actually the Disturbed tour is this spring, Killswitch is still doing Mayhem. Speaking of Mayhem, I will be at the St. Louis date no matter fucking what.

Killswitch needs to do their own headlining run.

And with the exception of the Mayhem tour *edit* and the number 12 show,I'll probably be go to at least one date of all the tours posted. Mayhem's still up in the air, don't quite feel like driving to Camden.
