Notebooks can't crash. Pen can't be deleted. Typing can't capture the same feeling as actually writing something can.

meh, have a Tech guy look at it. If the motherboard shorted or it's something else, nothing is wrong with teh harddrive and you can get back your data. I don't understand how this happens to people. Back up your fucking shit.

There's probably some way he can get them back. Next time i'm sure he'll keep multiple copies of his work.
