Used to have somewhat of an effects rig, but found that I almost never used them with the style of music I play so I simplified my rig to just that.

Pictures of my new rig coming soon...

Orange 4x12
Orange 2x12
1983 Marshall JCM800, 50-watt (w/ lift lid case from Affordable-Cases.com)
72' Fender Tele Deluxe... Majorly upgraded
Line-6 DL4
Boss RV3 delay
Boss TU2
(more pedals coming building a new rig for the band I joined).

In the future I am going to be adding a Barber Tone Press and either a Super Sport or LTD for some different drive tones and a Fulltone Supa-Trem. Then I will be done for awhile I think.

The Marshall/Orange stack is going to slay. I can't wait!!!!! :D

It's not too bad at all, if you like playing heavier shit I wouldn't recommend getting a Vox but with a vox on clean with a tube screamer set correctly, you can get a badass crunch.

Hello all!

New to the forum, and this seems like a good place to begin posting!
This is (unfortunately) the most recent photo of my amp rig. I've replaced the Morley volume pedal with an Ernie Ball Valve Jr. I've added an ISP Decimator, added a Boss SD-1, and have the addition of a Marshall JCM900 4100 Hi-Gain head with a Carvin 4x12 cabinet. I'll post pictures of these when I'm no longer in an apartment and am able to set it up to it's visual potential ;)

My guitar is a 2007 Black Gibson Explorer. One of these days, I'll take a picture of my rig in its entirety, but until then, this is all I've got. Hopefully, sometime in the next couple months, I'll be adding a White Gibson Les Paul Studio to this setup ;)

Sorry for the terrible picture quality, and this is NOT my guitar setup, it's my uncles. I play on a Gibson Les Paul Studio through a Vox AC15C1. But I just think this should be on here...this is only about one third of his entire room full of gear. He has guitars in this room played and/or owned by Keith Richards, Robin Trower, Eric Clapton, and more. He's got about 45 or 50 vintage guitars, anything between late 50's Fenders and Gibsons to Resonator acoustics and even a Brazilian Rosewood Martin. As for amps, the list goes on forever, but I think his most important one is a REAL TRAINWRECK head, custom made for him by Ken Fischer himself. It's in this picture, the brownish wooden head in the center. Look it up if you haven't heard of it. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I visit him.

Save your money just a little longer and get a solid tube amp, like a Vox AC15. Those pedals don't deserve to be played through solid state.

50 watts is more than enough, hell even 30 watts. You get the best sound from an amp when cranking up the volume. What's your budget for a head? I play through an Orange RV50 and an Orange 2x12 and even at practice, it's incredibly loud at half volume.
