i agree that whoa is the weakest on the album (maybe tied with here we go again) but it is the song that made me love this band when i saw them open for the rocket summer 3 years ago. i bet when i'm older and i think back to my high school years i will think of this album. i really don't care what anyone says
I thought both albums were great but I felt a greater attachment to this one more then RIOT! RIOT had a lot of energy but AWKIF had so much emotion to it. Maybe its because I listened to it a lot, that it attached to me.
About the discussion about their weaker song Whoa. It's probably one of their best songs live, you'd had to have heard it(crowd participation is awesome).
Based on your review, that lyrics score seems much too high. But the review is OK for the most part; this isn't a great album, but it has some pretty solid tracks.
I usually don't concentrate on the scores too much in reviews, but the lyrics were alright, imo, on most of the songs so I though I'd give it to 'em.
