I listened to that one a few times--and definitely dug it--but I tend to want to wait until I hear a studio version of a song before I really dig in to prevent disappointment. Haha.

This just reminded me of something from years ago, pre-smart phones and all that. Back in 2000, Green Day played that unplugged Bridge School Benefit concert the summer before Warning came out. While there was no YouTube or whatever, Napster was fully kickin' so the one new song they played live at that show ("Warning") leaked to the Internet pretty fast, and in relatively high quality.

But I remember listening to that bootlegged copy of the song and thinking "OH! This is great, but I can't wait to hear the electric, rocked up version!" Little did I know...

Jealous. Hopefully I'll join you at the Roxy. I'm ridiculously excited at the idea of them playing there. That venue is pretty small and to see Gaslight there... man. And to see them right as I get out of college. Definitely gonna be a good night (provided I get tickets).

I saw them at the Key Club w/ Alkaline Trio a few years back, it was pretty sweet.

It's Monday, so I assume it'll be BBC's streaming crap for the radio ... and then hit iTunes/Amazon on Tuesday, if it was going to. But I don't see it in their database yet, so I dunno.

If the 7" is being released the 22nd, doesn't that mean that the digital purchase should be available around then too? But yeah I hope that it is on Itunes or somewhere of good quality next week and not just a radio rip.
