Interesting. I could never get into Orenda's solo stuff as much as I did with Maria Taylor. I'll have to give this a try.

I adore Azure Ray, so I'm a big fan of Maria Taylor's and Orenda Fink's work. I'll pretty much check out anything they work on.

Yeah, I think I prefer Maria Taylor's solo work, but I like what I'm hearing from this duo.

Definitely. I think it's so much better than Lynn Teeter Flower. I ended up liking maybe 3 or 4 songs from that album, but this one is much more.. likeable haha. I was playing 'Time Lapse Lifeline' for 2 weeks straight. I was definitely jealous about the Azure Ray show they had in LA a few months back. That would've been ridiculously excellent to go to.

Ladyluck is better than Lynn Teeter Flower, but Lynn Teeter Flower is still an awesome album. Maria is just now hitting her stride and I think her next few could be really, really special. Moving away from that, I am excited for what Orenda and Cedric are doing. I was big into Remy Zero, so Cedric is an important dude to me. This will be exciting!

Haha if you check my last.fm, you'll see that I played Time Lapse Lifeline on repeat a few minutes ago. I love the song so much.

I would absolutely love to see Azure Ray live. Sigh. I miss them.
