Recommendation of the Week

What I've heard from the new Pulling Teeth album is awesome, not to mention the pre-order vinyl packaging is one of the better records I've seen in a while. I've also been rocking the new Number Twelve Looks Like You album, Worse Than Alone. I'm going to see them tonight in Providence, and they always put on a good show. And how ridiculous is it to see AxCx mentioned on AP.net?

Candlemass' new album, Death Magic Doom, can be streamed on Myspace. Very good news.

Gallows' music video for a new song entitled "The Vulture (Part II)" can be seen here. Still mixed on that song, I hope the rest of the album is better.

All That Remains and August Burns Red will be touring together: I actually had no idea the ABR was touring with them, mucho pissed there is no St. Louis date.

We Are the Romans' new EP, The Prosperity Pandemic, can be streamed on Myspace. I've always felt these guys were generic. This EP doesn't change that opinion.

Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted confirmed that he will perform with the band at their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That's pretty cool that he's playing considering all the drama that followed his exit.
