Recommendation of the Week

Everyone needs to go pick up the new Agoraphobic Nosebleed this Tuesday. From what I've heard, it's the band's best material in years. The addition of Katherine Katz on vocals is a great touch. That three-disc As I Lay Dying DVD looks awesome as well. Hatebreed covering Slayer was pretty ballsy. I'm sure that pissed off a lot of metalheads, but I think it's a decent cover. As for me, I'm getting excited for next weekend's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. Expect the round-up a little early next week, because I'll be busy with the festivities.

That is really a shame about Justin Pedrick of the Number Twelve, I just hope the dude feels better. I wish there was more details about the situation in the blog, instead of adding it as a footnote to other news.

Agreed. I saw the band shortly after he left though and they still put on a good performance. Here's a video from the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSK0aGChQ1s
