The "Sleepless Entertainment and Glamour Kills Present - The Sleepless Sounds of Summer Sampler - Vol. 2" will be coming out on June 20th for free. It will feature bands such as 2*Sweet, Holiday Parade, and Four Year Strong. You can head on over to the website right now to download a preview of the sampler and get five tracks for free. For this entire week, 2*Sweet will be posting a new song from Sleep Without Dreams every 24 hours on their myspace. The new page layout also hints at the album artwork for the forthcoming release. Sleep Without Dreams hits stores May 20th and is currently up for pre-sale at smartpunk.com. Catch them on tour with Set Your Goals, Hit The Lights, and I Am The Avalanche starting May 19th.
The Appreciation Post will be touring with 2*Sweet in June (and we'll be sponsoring it). Chicago's 2*Sweet has canceled the next two months of touring to finishing writing, re-writing, and recording with first full-length LP. They'll be recording in the studio with VuDu's Mike Watts (The Junior Varsity, The Fold) with the release set in early 2008. Also, after recording, they will be embarking on a small tour with Fireworks and The High Court in mid December.

Chicago's 2*Sweet has posted a new song called "Rested Eyes Tell No Lies" on myspace. This is the first of four tracks recorded with Mike Watts (As Cities Burn, Hopesfall).
Chicago power-pop band 2*Sweet has added their entire new EP on their Purevolume site. The EP, entitled Burning Alive in The Prairie State, will be available for stream for the week of September 18th - 24th. The record is set for release on October 15th and is available for pre-order now through Smartpunk.
2*Sweet is one of the bigger local bands from the city of Chicago that really reminds me of Set Your Goals and The Movielife. It also appears that the band is a heavy favorite of none other than Chicago's greatest "Hey Chris."
They just wrapped up a week long tour with the band Fireworks a few weeks ago. 2*sweet went into the studio July 4th and 5th to record some songs for their EP which should be out sometime in the month of August.
