We've had over 550 entries so far for our Get Happy Tour contest, which ends this Friday. Remember that in each city, the winner gets 2 tickets, 2 meet & greet passes, and a small merch pack. What's even cooler is that those winners are entered into a grand prize drawing for a signed guitar, signed bass, and massive merch pack from all four bands (Bowling for Soup, Quietdrive, Melee, and Army of Freshmen). If you haven't entered, you can do so here. Good luck!
To kick off our sponsorship of the Get Happy Tour, featuring Bowling for Soup, Quietdrive, Melee, and Army of Freshmen, we have set up an awesome contest that we're calling "2 Tickets To Happiness." For nearly all of the dates on the tour, we will be giving away 2 tickets, 2 meet & greet wristbands, and a prize package to one lucky winner. Those 35+ winners will be entered into a grand prize drawing the day after the tour. The winner gets both a guitar and a bass signed by all four bands, along with a mega merch package with free stuff from each band. To enter, click here. All of the announced tour dates are in the replies.
The Get Happy Tour will return for a second year featuring Bowling For Soup, Quietdrive, Melee, and Army of Freshmen. The tour kicks off 6/23 and finishes up on 8/26 and will include a UK leg in October. We at AP.net have been asked to sponsor, and we're working on some surprises for you. Is there anything specific that you would like to see us do with the Get Happy Tour this year?
Ventura, California-based sextet Army of Freshmen have unveiled the schedule for their forthcoming co-headlining tour of the United Kingdom with laptop-rapper MC Lars.
I will be doing an e-mail or phone interview with Chris Jay, singer of Army of Freshmen, in the near future. The band (currently unsigned) toured with Bowling For Soup for the entire US Get Happy Tour and will be picking up the UK leg in February, again with BFS. Leave your questions and I will do my best to get them asked.
