Greg Graffin of Bad Religion talked with San Diego Magazine about plans for next year:
During the fall semester Iím pretty busy. But next year thereís going to be a new solo album. I put out a new solo album about every six years, so next year Iím due for one. And then Iím going to develop a new book, but I canít talk about it yet. And finally, Bad Religion has a new album to write. So weíve got a lot of work to do.

Brooks Wackerman, formerly of Bad Religion, has joined Avenged Sevenfold.
"To be honest, Brooks's name has always been in the mix. It was one of the names we were throwing around when [original drummer James Sullivan] passed away in terms of who was going to step up for Nightmare. We felt Mike was the right choice and we still feel that way. Mike just destroyed on the record. He was perfect. But at the time, our tour manager brought up Brooks's name as well. But at the time he was also busy with BAD RELIGION and it was alsoÖ People were going to look at it differently because he was a punk drummer at this point."

Greg Graffin of Bad Religion has released a new book called Population Ward. It comes with an acoustic 7" as well.
Life on Earth has been defined by war from the beginning, with war between populations seen as an inevitable part of the evolutionary process. The popular understanding of ďthe survival of the fittestĒ explains and often excuses these actions. In Population Wars, Greg Graffin argues that this use of evolutionary theory is wrong, and that mistake has allowed us to justify wars even when other, less violent solutions may be available. Through tales of mass extinctions, developing immune systems, human warfare, the American industrial heartland, and our degrading modern...

Bad Religion recently sat down with Rolling Stone to talk about their Christmas release.
Well, thatís tough. Of course thereís irony. The irony, some would argue, is the best part of this album Ė the fact that a Bad Religion, with a crossbuster as their logo, is making a record of some of the most festive songs of the Christian holiday. But I donít only want the responsibility of the irony, because the truth of the matter is Christmas is not made ironic by Bad Religion. Itís made ironic by the secularism of modern society. You donít need to be a Bad Religion fan to make Christmas ironic. If you really talk about our intellectual heritage, Bad Religion is not ironic Ė modern society is...

Travis Barker will be sitting out Blink-182's upcoming Australian tour due to his fear of flying. Brooks Wackerman of Bad Religion will be filling in.
The trip to Australia was planned during our European tour last summer. The band knew the chances of Travis overcoming his fear of flying, which was magnified after the horrible plane crash in 2008, would be a challenge, but we wanted to play for our fans in Australia nonetheless. The three of us tried all measures to get us all there in full form. Travis has been working to overcome his fear of flying. Since we now know we have to make the trip without Travis our friend Brooks Wackerman (Bad Religion, Tenacious D) has stepped...
