If you like gruff punk then you'll probably enjoy the new record from Break Anchor that's streaming on the website today. The band features Suicide Machines singer Jay Navarro and all 13 tracks on In a Van Down by the River have a definite '90s punk vibe which might remind you of bands such as Face to Face. Stand-out cuts include "Gone" and "First World Problems," mostly because you're going to have a hard time getting them out of your head. Our song stream comes from Break Anchor, which is Jay Navarro from the Suicide Machines' brand-new pop-punk band. The band will release Blackhearts and Blackouts, its debut 7" for Paper + Plastick Records, on March 20th, and you can stream a new song from the EP called "All I Have" on their AP.net Profile or in the replies. Former Suicide Machines frontman Jay Navarro has formed a new band called Break Anchor with members of The Story So Far and Seized Up. The band will release their debut 7" EP, Blackhearts and Blackouts, on March 20 via Paper + Plastick. Stream one of the three tracks, "A Failure of Epic Proportions," here.
