Somos have dropped off their tour with Dads.
We have some unfortunate news to share: we are no longer on the February tour with Dads and Roger Harvey. Dropping a tour is a tough thing to do, and I want to be very open about why we came to this decision. I have struggled with anxiety and depression, and it eventually built up to the point where touring in February was daunting and unmanageable. I recently started to get serious about treatment, but we want to have a few months off while I pursue the goal of dramatically improving my mental health. We plan on continuing to tour and make music, once I take the proper time to address my health. We sincerely apologize to Dads and Roger...

After a stint playing Fest, Tiny Moving Parts have hit the road with Dads and Choir Vandals for a few weeks and stopped by Austin's Red 7 last night. The room was full for a Tuesday night, and all three bands could feel the good vibes. Things got rowdy, as they always do after a night at Red 7 (I'm telling you, things happen there man), but not before I could snap a few shots of the Triple Crown Records band straight outta Minnesota, eh. Check out a few photos and the gallery link below.

Buzzfeed has posted a new listicle about some of our BFFs, entitled "21 Newer Bands You Should Definitely Check Out If You're Desperately Missing '90s and '00s Emo." Featuring the likes of Dads, Glocca Morra and even broken up bands like Snowing, and not much description, the list is a fine way to pat yourself on the back for being slightly ahead of Buzzfeed.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be in a touring band? Probably lots of hotties and just tons of people getting naked whenever you want them to. Probably. Dads, in their infinite kindness, decided to show us their version of touring in their new music video for "Big Bag of Sandwiches," which you can see in the replies. I think you'll really be shocked at all of the craziness, sexiness and downright disgusting-ness that occurs. SFW, honest.

Today we are excited to present you guys with a stream of a new song from Dads titled "Bakefast At Piffany's." The song comes from their upcoming debut full-length for Flannel Gurl Records, American Radass (this is important), which is due out August 7 and can be preordered here. Head to their AP.net Profile or the replies to stream the track. The New Jersey two-piece comes highly recommended from me on a personal level, and is suggested for fans of the recently dumbly-titled "twinkle daddies" wave.
