Damiera have mutually split with Equal Vision Records and hope to have a new album out in 2010.

After nearly four years and two releases together, Damiera and Equal Vision Records have decided to part ways. We are going to spend much of this summer working on our next album, with a planned release in 2010.

Damiera and Man Without Wax are currently on tour together on the East Coast. Tiger! Tiger! will also be lending support on select dates. Dates can be found in the replies.

Damiera is currently in pre-production to record the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, M(US)IC, this winter. Jayson Dezuzio, now the band's bassist, will produce again, along with singer Dave Raymond. While in the studio, the band will post periodic video blogs detailing the recording process. Their current tour with Moros Eros and The Stiletto Formal will your last opportunity to catch Damiera live until 2008.

Damiera is currently hard at work writing material for their new album, which they will begin recording immediately after their upcoming tour with Moros Eros. The Stiletto Formal has announced a full US tour for the fall with Moros Eros. The tour will be their first tour to the East Coast in 2007. Damiera (10/20 – 11/3) and The Axe That Chopped The Cherry Tree (11/4 – 11/21) will be joining the tour as well. Dates can be seen in the replies.
