Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne has spoken, in length, with Rolling Stone. And yes, he addresses the claims made by former drummer Kliph Scurlock.

I would say that I'm very sorry, to anybody that is following my Instagram or my Twitter, if I offended anybody of any religion, any race, any belief system. I would say you shouldn't follow my tweets; you shouldn't even probably want to be a Flaming Lips fan because we don't really have any agenda. We go about doing things through our imagination. And I would say that if we wrongly stepped on anybody's sacredness, then we're sorry about that. That was never our intention.

Gawker is reporting that Kliph Scurlock was kicked out of the Flaming Lips for disagreeing with Wayne Coyne about the appropriateness of wearing "Native-American headdresses."
Kliph Scurlock confirmed to Indian Country Today Media Network that he was fired by Wayne Coyne for criticizing Christina Fallin. "I was fired for telling Christina to go fuck herself after her lame-ass 'apology' when people got upset at her stupid headdress photo," he wrote. "That happened in mid-March. I wasn't anywhere around during the performance [at Norman Music Festival] the other night."

We hate to expose you to a high-quality LP so close to end of the year list-making, but we need you to hear The Bloodsugars. On the band's AP.net Profile you can stream the ABSOLUTExclusive premiere of their new album I Can't Go On, I'll Go On. It's a record full of bouyant indie-pop grooves taking hints from MGMT, The Flaming Lips, and the 1980's - case in point, The Bloodsugars are hard not to like.

Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips) calls Arcade Fire a bunch of pricks, and Win Butler fires back. Who do you prefer?
