Jack's Mannequin have announced a new DVD/CD of their final show entitled, Live From The El Ray. The release features 14 tracks from band's last performance from last November. All proceeds are going to Andrew's Dear Jack Foundation. The release date is June 25th, but you can pre-order it on Andrew's webstore. It is not lost on me that tonight is exceptional. Exceptional for many reasons. Exceptional because I am at peace. Exceptional because on evenings such as this, in other lives, I was a mess. I have spent many nights in terminals like this one; waiting on a trains or planes, dreaming of final destinations. Tonight is different though. A broad leather chair with wooden arms, one of many in LA’s union station, holds me close as I type these words. I am eager for the tracks and my wife on the other side, but I am glad to be here for now, if only for a moment.

Kid Is Qual, the new band from ex-Jack's Mannequin bassist Jon Sullivan, has released a video for "Conflict Girl." The band will be releasing a new EP next week. Check the replies for the video.
Jack's Mannequin will be performing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, Monday December 5th. The full band will be there to perform the second single from People and Things, "Release Me."
Jack's Mannequin's third release, People and Things, has debuted at #1 on Billboard's Alternative Albums Chart and at #9 on the overall Billboard 200 chart this week. The album sold close to 28k copies.
