The Record Life is a brand new band headed by singer/songwriter Jakob Johnson (ex-frontman of De Capulet). He's got a few new songs up on The Record Life's MySpace page, one of which, "Big Love", features Andrew McMahon and other members of Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate. The other new song streaming on the page, "With the World", is a piano ballad. Big things are coming in the future for The Record Life. You can pick up Big Love on the Panic! At The Disco/Jack's Mannequin tour where they are handing out free samplers everynight on each date courtesy of Airport Tapes & Records.

One of the greatest bands to ever come from Chicago has started up a Myspace.com page, even though they've broken up, you can also stream their entire EP here. One Life suffered from many a line-up change before finally dissovling. But before that sad day they graced the same stage with the likes of Fall Out Boy, The Plain White T's, Lucky Boys Confusion, etc. One can only hope that this new MySpace may lead to a reunion show.
