Liam and Me have posted the unreleased Lives We Might Have Lived on iTunes. This will, unfortunately, be the last release from the band. The band has also put the album up in a "pay what you want" format on their website.
In a past Thursday Discussion I talked about Liam and Me and wondered whatever happened to the follow-up album they recorded, but never released. Well, I just got my answer. After talking to the band, it looks like some crazy shit went down (more on that soon), but the band will be releasing the album online sometime around June 23rd before their upcoming NYC shows. So, it's coming. We'll keep you updated with more information when we get it.
Liam And Me's "Say It Out Loud" single is now available on iTunes. The song was produced by Wired All Wrong (The White Tie Affair, Hellogoodbye, Self) and mixed by Mark Endert (Maroon 5, The Fray, Fiona Apple). This is the first track off the band's new album, which is set for release this year; a music video for this song will be available later this month. Artwork for the single is in the replies. For the NYC readers, the band will be playing a show at Highline Ballroom (431 W. 16th St. (btw 9th and 10th ave)) tonight with Lights Resolve, TV/TV, and more. Liam and Me goes on at 8.
Liam and Me are scheduled to head out on tour in support of Boy George in mid-July. No really, we're not kidding. One little problem...Boy George is still dealing with issues involving his recent visa denial. Tentative dates are in the replies, however.
Liam and Me has been pegged to support Young Love, Under the Influence of Giants, and PlayRadioPlay! on their forthcoming tour. To view the tour's complete schedule, please visit the band's myspace profile. Liam and Me are currently in the midst of recording their debut full-length with producers Jeff Turzo and Matt Mahaffey, which is expected to hit shelves this summer via Thrive Records.
