So last night I received a tweet back from Nightmare Of You saying that if they'd release another album or EP, they would want to do it through a label, and then asked for suggestions. So I've called upon you, faithful AP.net reader, to suggest some labels that would be a great fit for a great band.

Brandon from Nightmare of You has posted a lengthy blog update.
From the BlogI’ve been saying it a lot lately, but now I know I actually mean it when I say that I am absorbing myself fully into Nightmare Of You again. I’ve missed the hell out of it. I don’t know just how full time it’s going to be at first because everything is kind of being built from the ground up again. With the exception of my best friend/guitar player, Joe McCaffrey, I honestly don’t even know who else will be in the band. It has essentially only been Joe and myself since taking our long vacation from dirty hotels and even dirtier venues. We wrote and demo-ed some songs here and there since then, but it’s...

Vinnie Caruana played a new I Am The Avalanche song at the recent Barbary show in Philadelphia. He said it "may be" on the new record before playing the song, then said that the new album is too up tempo for this song. Head to the replies to see a video. Vinnie also asked the crowd if anyone would be seeing their The Movielife show next month in May and that there "may be" more shows after that. Kenny Vasoli also played a new The Starting Line song and Brandon Reilly played a new Nightmare of You song.

Nightmare of You had to cancel their earlier tour with Cartel as a result of singer Brandon Reilly being in a psychiatric hospital, says Stolen Transmission Records founder Sarah Lewitinn in a blog post.
ExcerptThe two new songs that the band played in their “My Name is Trouble”-less set included the ode to S&M and Psychiatry “You’re Very Dear to Me,” and Brandon Reilly’s self-aware ode to himself “I Was Never a Normal Boy.” I remember hearing the final mixes of the song that ironically gets shorted to “Normal Boy,” while driving around Long Island with Brandon a few days after he had been let out of a psychiatric hospital, his attendance had caused NOY to cancel their big US tour with...

Message From The BandIt is with heavy hearts that we share the news with you that due to an unforeseen medical emergency, Nightmare of You will not be able to go out on tour in support of Cartel. The situation is not dire and everything should be back to normal shortly. We apologize that we will not be seeing you all as we had originally planned, but as they say somewhere, "absence makes the heart grow fonder."
