According to a recent podcast (Get Up On This #81), Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco announced that Panic! has been writing the past few months, and are going to finish their new album this month. He said that they are aiming to have it out this year.

Dallon Weekes confirmed via Twitter that he is writing music for the next Panic! at the Disco record. One can assume that means he is more of a permanent member of the band at this point, right?
Panic! At the Disco are working on new music. Brendon stated in a new interview, "We’re going to work on a new record. We’ve worked on a couple of songs already on the bus, but it’ll be nice to have five hours to really work on something." With Spencer adding, "We’ve actually been listening to a little bit of hip-hop production. I don’t think we’d ever go for anything that slick, but it’ll be interesting to see how that makes its way into what we do. But we’re always listening to classical rock as well."

Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie fell ill before the band's X96 Big Ass Show. King Niko's frontman Ransom Wydner filled in for him. More details can be found in the replies, including a video of Ransom rehearsing "Nine in the Afternoon" before the show.

Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco broke his ankle this past Sunday while playing in Pompano Beach, Florida. Urie continued to play the show with one foot. Check the replies to see the damage on the man's poor body.
