Settings has posted a new song titled “Do It Again” on myspace. The new song is from the band's forthcoming EP Platinum which they recorded with Orgy frontman Jay Gordon earlier this year. The band has retracted their statement about a July release date for the EP and have left it open ended about a new date.The band will also be performing on the Warped tour this summer.

Buffalo, NY’s Settings started tour yesterday with The Scenic and The Bigger Lights. Dates are available in the replies. The band’s MTV2 special starts tomorrow and runs throughout the end of the month. Settings had their van broken into while touring through Michigan.
Message from the BandHey everyone, we are at a comfort suites in Michigan right now. The band woke up this morning to find that our van was broken into from the driver side window. Unfortunately everything we had of value (i.e. lapotp, all our band money, playstation, dvds, clothing, a guitar, etc..) was stolen. These things happen and we are doing our best to get back on our feet and make the rest of the shows on this tour. UpdateMay 2006 is looking to be the release month for the EP. The EP will feature 3 songs, and will be available on iTunes, as well as at all of our shows. Speaking of shows, Settings will be hitting the open road in July 2006. The tour will be sponsered by ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, more info coming soon. Also, Tim has decided to put his bass in it's case to attend college. The four of us wish Tim the best of luck with all his future endeavors, he is a close friend and will be missed. With that said. Settings is currently looking for a full-time bass player. You must be 18 years old, and willing to relocate in time to practice for tour this...

Settings will be recording their debut EP with producer Mike Birnbaum (Coheed and Cambria) in April and May. The band will announce it's first collection of tour dates which follow soon after the recording. More information coming soon.

Settings recently traveled to NYC and started rehearsing with their new singer Alex Bonnueau. To give a taste of what Alex can do, the band have posted a teaser on their Myspace page. Also, the band will begin recording demos in March. Some big things are in store for these guy's so watch out for them.
Please NoteThe MP3 available for stream is a demo the band recorded in their NYC hotel room with a drum machine. It was recorded at 4:00 in the morning and was done to give people an idea of what the band sounds like with their new singer, nothing more. The vocals are realistically untouched and were improvised in an hour or so
