Shaun Cooper (Straylight Run) has written a personal thank you note to the bands he has worked with and announced his retirement from the touring life.

Straylight Run are going on an indefinite hiatus.

John Nolan's music video for "Til It's Done to Death" can now be seen on AOL Music.

According to this interview, Straylight Run will not be recording this year due to money issues.

At last night's show in Austin, Straylight Run's John Nolan and Shaun Cooper both said the band hopes to start working on a full length as early as Spring 2010, but there are no set plans as of yet. A review of the tour can be seen here.
