Straylight Run have announced new tour dates in support of their upcoming EP. Check them out in the replies.

Straylight Run will be releasing their new EP Un Mas Dos on Sept. 16th. Album artwork is available in the replies and some clips can be heard here.

Anberlin will be heading out on a headlining tour this fall with support from Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Straylight Run, and There for Tomorrow. The pre-sale will start next Tuesday the 29th - other details will be announced shortly.

I wanted to let you know that after a lot of thought and discussion with the band, i have decided that i am going to take some time off from Straylight Run to work on a solo record.

It was a difficult decision to make and please know that i have enjoyed all my time in Straylight Run and i loved meeting all of you through the years and hope to continue to see you in the future! I talked to John Nolan after their show in OKC last night and asked him about future touring plans and he said they're working on getting on a tour with The Used in April. I know it's a weird tour that doesn't make much sense, but he said "We're just trying to get on any tour that we can right now."

So I'm not sure how much I'm supposed to say about this... Today I found out we were officially dropped from Universal Republic. I can't say I'm dissappointed though.

We did everything in our power to avoid the horrible situation we were put into, but I guess that wasn't enough. I guess the label is kind of in shambles. I mean, if you feel like the man that brought you The Killers and Fall Out Boy is expendable; what the hell are we?

Whatever... most people in the "record industry" are shitheads, and don't have a clue what they're doing. That is the real resaon why records...
