SPIN recently did an interview with Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio in which the singer revealed that the band is working on a new record (their first since bassist Gerard Smith passed away in 2011), they have parted ways with long-time label Interscope, and the band does not have a replacement for Smith as of yet.
