They have an amazing system here set up with Bill, Jason [Livermore, engineer] and all the guys that work here. We went really intense. Everyone tracks—you’ve got guitar tracking in one place, bass and vocals in another place and editing—all at the same time, so it’s just a really cool system where you get a lot of man hours in a short amount of time because things are going on in different places. We got an amazing-sounding record in just ten days.

That energy and urgency translated to the finished product, which sounds as if it’ll be the most direct material the Bouncing Souls have cut to tape in several...

Hey everyone. We're getting ready to go home for a bit to get some rest and start writing new songs, but we decided to break up our time off with a bunch of really fun shows. It's a mix between some college shows, a run with the Bouncing Souls for their 20 year anniversary and a bunch of really small club headline shows. These shows are going to be a blast. From the Interview

All of my initial dreams have come true with the band's success and all of the experiences that have come with it. Now I feel the work we have done all these years has been great ground work in learning how to enjoy life and just be happy living the adventure of it.

The Bouncing Souls have just posted their new song for the month of August, "Boogie Woogie Downtown" on their Facebook page.

The Bouncing Souls have released their song of the month for April. It's called "Dubs Says True," and it's available for purchase right here. In case you missed it, the band's hilarious video for last month's song, "Airport Security," is in the replies.

The Bouncing Souls will celebrate 20 years as a band in 2009 by releasing one song each month as a digital download, and then compile them onto three 7" records over the course of the year through their own Chunksaah Records. The first download will be available on January 1st and is called "Gasoline." The band is also releasing limited edition merch and will be touring internationally in 2009.

The Bouncing Souls will be playing three "Home for the Holidays" shows at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.
