I think we're gonna do it ourselves, The way we made the last record, learning to do it ourselves, no-one knows better how to make our own record than we do. It's gonna have quite a lot of space in it. With the records we're listening to at the moment, there's so much faith in the songs that they're allowed to really breathe and exist on their own grooves.

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of watching The Maccabees play their biggest ever headline show to date at London's Alexandra Palace. The band went all out on stage production and lighting as well as playing some very old songs which haven't been played for years, different versions of songs and debuting Given To The Wild tracks live.
