The Cribs are currently working on their first studio album as a three-piece since 2007's Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever and have a working title of In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull. The band has also been speaking about their last album, Ignore The Ignorant, which they recorded and toured with Johnny Marr (The Smiths) and how natural it feels to be a three-piece again.

Former bassist for The Smiths, Andy Rourke, spoke last night at the launch for the new documentary "Inside the Smiths." He squashed all talk of a reunion when he claimed, "He (Morrissey) makes himself unavailable. He only communicates in postcards. But I suppose time is a great healer, and can change your perception of people."
The Manchester Evening News is reporting that The Smiths will be induced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year. There are talks of a reunion performance as well.
