The Summer Set have been named the winner of Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Contest. They locked up a spot on the iHeartRadio Music Festival this September in Las Vegas.

The Summer Set is in the running for Macy's "Rising Star" contest. You can vote for the band here (25 times per e-mail address). If they win the band will get to play the iHeartRadio festival this fall, receive an ad campaign with Macy's, and get added into rotation on Clear Channel stations. The contest ends tonight at 9 PM PST and fans can also enter to win a trip to the iHeartRadio Festival when they vote each time.

After self-releasing the What Money Can't Buy EP, the band signed to Fearless Records and has been slowly teasing us by releasing singles. This has been the best summer of my life.

It all began when the 5 of us moved into a house in Tempe, Arizona to begin writing for album #3. We learned a lot about ourselves. As much as we love touring, it felt good to finally have a break.
