Bad Timing Records have announced the new lineup for the Light Years and Head North tour. A Will Away has been added to the tour, No Good News has been dropped. No Good News has also deleted all of their social media presence on the internet and I'm hearing from multiple reliable sources they have disbanded.

A Will Away are releasing a new EP called Bliss on March 20th via Quiet Fire Media. You might remember when we premiered "Cheap Wine" earlier this month, and today we are streaming the whole EP. It was mixed by Gary Cioffi (Transit, Misser) and mastered by Kris Crummet. The opener "Play Dead" sounds like The American Scene vocally mixed with Listen & Forgive-era Transit musically, while "My Sitter" is a slow burner that is one of the most impressive songs the band has written (it should be a favorite around here). "Ten or Eleven" is the most intense song here, with the chorus approaching screams. Give the whole EP a listen below. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order it.

We are excited to announce that A Will Away are releasing a new EP called Bliss on March 20th via Quiet Fire Media. The EP was produced by Gary Cioffi (Transit, Misser). We are premiering a new song off of it called "Cheap Wine," which you can hear below. The steady and somber guitars give the vocals a greater clarity, but the bass keeps your ears tuned in early on as it contrasts with the guitars and vocals. Rather than heavily focusing on a chorus or hook, "Cheap Wine" lets each instrument resonate. Those of you who miss The Dangerous Summer or enjoy The American Scene's Safe For Now should like this one. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the EP. New tour dates are also...

Members of Head North and Maryland photographer and videographer Rachel Cooper have started Quiet Fire Media, a combination record label and media company. The goal is creating a new wave of music culture that gives both artists and fans what they want out of their musical experience. The first two artists to singed are A Will Away and WATERMEDOWN. You can watch an intro video below, along with viewing A Will Away's new tour dates.
"We believe music is an essential part of creating a sense of community among people - it brought us together and provided us with clarity and direction as we explored our respective artistic outlets, and we want to bring that forward here. Our goal is to...
