In a recent online article talking about music listeners' perceptions on Counting Crows, frontman Adam Duritz namedropped AP.net in his interview piece.

"The big people who've told me they were influenced by our music are in the punk community," Duritz said. "It was magazines like Alternative Press and absolutepunk.net that first came out and started really talking about (how) people need to revise their opinions of Counting Crows and it came from that community."
