Matt Skiba never seems to stop making music. When he has free time from Alkaline Trio, he keeps busy with one of several side projects. For his latest, dubbed Matt Skiba and The Sekrets, he recruited Jarrod Alexander of My Chemical Romance and Hunter Burgan of AFI. Stellar Corpses will release Dead Stars Drive-In on January 24, 2012 via Santa Carla Records. The album was produced by Joe McGrath and will feature guest spots from Hunter Burgan and Jade Puget of AFI and Michale Graves (ex-Misfits).

AFI have scrapped their recorded work thus-far with producer David Bottrill. They're currently recording in Los Angeles with Joe McGrath helming the soundboard (Green Day, Tourmaline, Morrissey).
