In case you didn't catch it from the news we posted about Tom Gabel's live debut as Laura Jane Grace at Against Me!'s show in San Diego, the band's new record will be called Transgender Dysphoria Blues. The group played six new songs at the show. In the Rolling Stone article about Laura's transformation, there was a mention that writing for this new record begun quite a while ago.
Today the new Rolling Stone hits shelves -- it's the one with the full article on Tom Gabel's recent news. Seeing as it's the first issue of the magazine I've actively wanted to seek out in years ... Update #2: Some pictures of the upcoming article are online, check them out here. The full article is in the May 24th issue of the magazine.

The reissue will be the first release on the band's newly launched record label, Total Treble Music. This reissue is a 28-track collection that includes the original 10-song album with four bonus tracks, all produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder. The second half, Black Crosses, is a collection of alternate versions and unreleased songs. Of the 14 self-produced Black Crosses songs, nine were recorded with drummer Warren Oakes at Goldentone Studios in Gainesville, FL, shortly before he departed the band in Spring 2009.
