Long Island, NY pop punk band, Bellwether, will be self-releasing a 5-song acoustic EP on February 18th. The EP will have 3 songs from But I Have To…, a brand new song, and a special cover song. The EP will be streamed in full on Property of Zack on February 11th.

Fireworks will return with its highly anticipated new full-length, Oh, Common Life, on March 25 via Triple Crown Records. It was recorded last fall with Brian McTernan. Distances will release a digital EP called Boulders on February 18th through Gold Stock Records and one of the tracks will be streaming on this site just before the release. The band's also heading out on a short Western Canadian tour and you can find the dates in the replies. Its debut full-length record Peaks/Valleys is slated for release sometime this summer.

In addition to their work with their respective rock bands, Bryce Dessner (The National) and Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) both have careers as classical composers as well. On March 5th the two will release a split LP featuring their own classical compositions. Dessner's composition is called "St. Carolyn by the Sea" and Greenwood's is a suite from his soundtrack to There Will Be Blood. Check out the track listing, album art, and a trailer in the replies.
