Boston indie-rock band The Color And Sound recently signed to Black Numbers; a 2013 EP was re-issued as an introduction to new fans, but the real excitement for the pop-friendly, boppy act begins right now (right now!!) with the September 16 release of a new EP called Peace of Mind (pre-order here). Following up on the news that Pianos Become The Teeth, Desaparecidos and The Sidekicks would feature on Epitaph Records fall sampler, it appears that more info was leaked via the cassette. Pianos Become The Teeth's new record will be called Keep You and will be released this fall. Desaparecidos and The Sidekicks will also be releasing new albums in 2015.

As is the case with all things in life: if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right! So we spent a lot of time determining the best way to make our 6th full-length studio album. After a member's departure, Dear You thought that was the end. But it wasn't until a realization that they should cherish the memories with that member instead of giving up they decided to come back bigger and better than ever before with a more mature sound and realistic lyrics.
