Communities Digital News conducted a great interview with Bill Stevenson. He mentions that the Descendents are working on a new album and that it's a priority for the band in the next few months. There's currently no plans for any new ALL recordings though.
We started on it. We’re not really far into it, but we’re making it a priority to kind of focus on it in the coming months.

In a plot twist that surprises no one, I have forgotten to post the last two updates to the lineup for Fest 12 (tickets here). Before I start typing a bunch of band names, news today comes in that Fest will be announcing "two reunions, two legends, one [band] who has not played since Fest 3, and more," so we'll have an update again later today as well! Over the past couple weeks, Fest 12 has confirmed performances from ALL, Circle Takes The Square, Titus Andronicus, Fake Problems, Sundowner, United Nations, Hop Along, Adventures, Glocca Morra, Junior Battles, Mikey Erg, PJ Bond (full band) and more. The updated lineup (330+ bands) is in the replies.

Dave Smalley (DYS, Dag Nasty, ex-ALL) has launched a Kickstarter project to fund the recording and production costs of his debut solo E.P. The release date is set for February 2012.

An interview with Stephen Egerton (Descendents, All) can be seen here.
QuoteWhen I grew up, I found myself more and more attracted to vocal melodies. I was getting more and more into that. I was trying to explore vocal melodies. "How about having more singing?" I've always been exploring that in my music. I headed more into that direction. I wanted to write more around the idea of a vocal melody. That's the hardest part for me since I'm not much of a lyricist. I had these vocal melodies all the time in my head. What I'm hearing in my head now is a music totality based in a melody.
