'American Idol' is back. If you're like me - you don't care one bit. However, every once in a while the first few episodes provide some unintentional comedy. Like when someone covers "Looking Up" by Paramore during the audition. Spoiler alert: He didn't make it. I was going to make some kind of snarky comment, but then I read the article and his girlfriend seems like a real winner ... made me feel bad about making any other cracks.

A clip of the studio version of the song is available on Ferras' myspace profile; his new album Aliens & Rainbows hits stores April 1st through Capitol Music Group.

American Idol will be allowing contestants to use instruments in the new season of the show, as opposed to just singing.
