According to a post on Billboard's new blog Jaded Insider,
Ted Leo And The Pharmacists are "not very far along" on their new record. According to Leo, "I've got a lot of music but not a lot of lyrics, so it's the kind of thing where I could finish it next month or at the end of the summer. The goal is still to have the record out by the year's end however."
