Arcade Fire will play two free shows March 2nd and 3rd in support of Barack Obama. The venues are Stuarts Opera House in Nelsonville, OH and Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, OH, respectively.

In addition to their tour together, Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem will be releasing a limited edition split 7" with LCD covering Joy Division's "No Love Lost" and Arcade Fire covering Serge Gainsbourg's "Poupee de Cire."

The first couple dates of Arcade Fire's next North American tour have been announced. LCD Soundsystem will be the main support for all dates, and the tour will last until early October. Arcade Fire will be making a limited number of tickets available for purchase directly through arcadefire.com prior to the tickets going on sale to the general public. Ticket pre-sales will start on Wednesday, June 20 at 10am Mountain via this site and end Friday, June 22 at 3PM Mountain.
