Urgency (not to be confused with The Urgency) has decided to disband.
Message From the Bandi know we've been an extremely confusing band lately. we've gotten tons of questions about us breaking up, and it's time we came forth with everything. jordan just posted a blog stating that he's leaving the band for personal reasons, but the TRUTH is that, in one form or another, we all sort of left the band months ago. not literally, but mentally and emotionally. sometimes it's impossible for a group of dudes to recover from the shit we've been through in the last year. it was a test we apparently failed. we gave it our best and sometimes that's all you can do.

i want to personally thank first...

Dead To Fall has decided to call it quits.
Message From The BandDead to Fall is no more. After 9 years, its time to say good-bye. There really isn’t an easy way to say this, but the Dead To Fall machine broke beyond repair this last weekend. I guess the financial, personal, and emotionalstrains wore some of us down and caused a violent collapse. After a show in Wisconsin Logan and Chad to quit this past weekend. I wont go into the whole "behind the music band break up scenario" but it was a night filled with retarded actions and words. The rest of us don’t want to go through yet another major lineup change and really are just ready for a new chapter in our lives. The Super Massive Fist...

YouInSeries has decided to call it a day.
Myspace BlogWell hello everyone. Kyle here from the YouInSeries camp. I have some sad news to inform everyone about. After starting this band 5 years ago with my best friends in my garage, it seems as though YouInSeries has finally ran its course. We were in the process of writing songs for our second record when I was informed that some of us were not compelled to continue with this lifestyle anymore. It saddens me in such a way that its hard to express in words. I really wish we could have recorded our new songs for you guys to hear. It was some of my favorite material I have ever worked on. I want to personally thank my bandmates, everyone at...

Piebald have announced that they will be breaking up after their current tour.
Message from the BandFriends, friends, friends…we have not posted anything anywhere in quite some time and our word on the street is that this is our last tour. All the preceding words are true and we have decided to put Piebald to rest. The past fifteen years or so have been nothing short of extremely incredible. We have met lots of people, been to lots of places and experienced a whole lot of life. In 1994 we started making music, screenprinting our own seven inch covers and borrowing our parents cars to get to shows. Since then, we have traveled the globe, released many records, and played thousands of...

Number One Fan have broken-up.
Message from the BandWe apologize for the lack of updates, we've received many emails from a lot of you concerning our status. Heres a short story of what has happened. We had a wonderful run in Number One Fan, we met so many folks that treated us like kings. And we thoroughly enjoyed it for a couple years. We couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished , or of the turnout of our only record "Compromises". But as many of you know, when you start a band when youre 15 years old, you're not going to love it forever.

By the end of 2005 we were extremely tired, we didnt enjoy a note we played anymore. We didnt believe it. We set out to write a follow up...

South Australia hardcore outfit I Killed the Prom Queen have called it quits.
Press ReleaseWe regret to announce that I Killed The Prom Queen will no longer continue as a band. The final nail in the coffin came when Jona was asked to join USA Metal group Bleeding Through as second guitarist. This, coupled with our inability to find a replacement vocalist, aided the decision to end the band.

We would all like to sincerely thank all our friends and family and our label's Stomp, Metal Blade, Golf and Howling Bull records for their ongoing support of IKTPQ and most of all we would like to thank all the fans that made the last 7 years the most amazing years of our lives. We feel that we...

Good Riddance has called it quits.
Press ReleaseAfter over ten years, eight albums and countless tours, Santa Cruz, CA's Good Riddance have decided to call it a career. We have deliberated heavily on this decision and we all agree that it is the logical and practical next step for our band. It is with the utmost sense of gratitude and humility that we have arrived at this conclusion. We have been given a truly great gift and a tremendous opportunity to pursue a dream and we have accomplished far more than any of us ever thought possible.

All of the members of GOOD RIDDANCE have become increasingly busy with other life interests (work, family, etc.) which has made it difficult for us...

Always Rushing By have decided to call it a day. The band's final statement is below.
Always Rushing By BreakupAlways Rushing By have decided to move on. We started this band as four kids
who wanted only to make music we loved and then share it with others.
Thankfully we're ending it the same way and are remaining best friends. We
had a lot more happen than we ever expected, made some life long friends,
and saw places we never thought we'd see. Sometimes life just gets in the
way and it's time for us to go our seperate ways. Thank you so much to
everyone out there that cared about this just as much, if not more, than we
did. You know who you are and just remember that your kindness,...
