Former Thieves are calling it quits. You can read a full statement from the band in the replies.
From The BandThe actual difficulty of being a band transcends location, privilege, ultimate goals, or musical ability. It's staying a band. That's the hard part. As a band progresses and time moves on, there is a lot of life happening in the periphery. It gets to be a lot to balance. The task becomes how well you can keep one foot planted in two polarized worlds, without getting completely lost in the tap-dancing act of making a home life and a band life work. There's no easy way to say this, but that's where we as Former Thieves have become exhausted.

Before Their Eyes will release their final album, The Finale sometime next year and will disband after.
From Nick MooreThe Finale. This will be the final chapter in the Before Their Eyes book. I started this band one night out of boredom sitting in my bedroom one night on township road 94 in Findlay, Ohio back in 2006. I never in my wildest of dreams thought we would travel the world playing hundreds of shows to thousands upon thousands of people. I have no regrets. I had some of the highest & lowest points of my life in this band. It really helped me find myself. I appreciate EVERY SINGLE one of you for supporting me and making me feel so special. Meeting you all was really the highlight...

The New Frontiers have decided to call it quits.
Statement from the BandIt's never fun to tell people news they don't want to hear so I'll get right to it: The New Frontiers are quitting. It's been a priceless experience, writing music together and sharing it with all of you in our travels across America, but the time has come for us to move on to other things. There are so many people out there that we couldn't possibly thank you all for the support you've given us through the years. Giving us a place to stay on tours, making care packages for us, coming out to shows, buying records, feeding us, the list really does go on and on... We could not have done it for as long as we did...

Michael Nau, the main force behind Page France, has dissolved Page France to focus full-time on his new band, The Cotton Jones Basket Ride.
QuoteAfter a few years of Page France touring and recording, we felt it time to step back from it-- I felt mentally exhausted, and quickly became a difficult person to be around... I've spent the past few months writing and recording material for Cotton Jones.
