Check out what a fan had to say about Bayside's show in New York the other night:
Fans Report In On Bayside ShowCops shut down the Bayside show in Albany last night at Saratoga Winners. The show was packed and there were fights all night. Finally some kid got taken away in an ambulance and cops announced over the PA that the show had to stop or they were pulling the power. The crowd had been extra rowdy all night and this didn't help. Bayside announced they were going to play "Devotion and Desire" and the crowd was losing it. The cops announced they had better not and Ant said "well we'll just play until you cut the power then". they played, they cut the power and the crowd chanted...

Anthony of Bayside has responded to the incident that took place with a few crowd surfers at their show the other night:
Anthony RespondsIt's very common at packed shows in small rooms for crowd surfers to wind up on stage. We have nothing against crowd surfing, dancing, stage diving or whatever. We welcome it. I was definitely not pissed about what happened last night. The problem is that when there is no barricade, when you crowd surf, there is nowhere for you to land except on top of someone in the front row, someone on stage or some equiptment. When there is no baracade you run the risk of injuring yourself, another fan or a band member. When there are security guards there to catch...

Last night in Cleveland during Bayside's set some fans made it on stage, hit Anthony in the face with the mic causing him to fall backwards, land on his hand and bend his finger awkwardly. He ran off stage mid song but the band continued to play for a minute or so. After about a 5 minute hiatus he returned and finished the set with his hand taped up. He was pretty angry, actually pushing people off stage who were trying to stage dive. At the end of their set he made an announcement that his finger was most likely broken.
