Consequence of Sound is reporting that Black Flag's Greg Ginn has been accusted of child abuse by his ex-wife.
Marina, who resides in Austin, Texas, says her daughters, age 10 and 7, “live in constant fear” of their father. While under his care, she claims Greg “routinely denies [them] food” so that they do not gain weight, has threatened them with physical abuse and, at times, thrown cups of water in their faces. Marina also alleges that he emotionally harasses his daughters by whistling and telling them, “You’re hot.” According to Marina, her youngest daughter, Karis, was taken to the hospital on October 7th over stress and anxiety stemming from these events.

In a Facebook post, Black Flag singer Ron Reyes says that during the band's Nov. 24 show he was effectively fired mid-set.
On November 24th 2013 the last night of the Australian Hits and Pits tour with two songs left in the set Mike V comes on stage stares me down, takes my mic and says "You're done, party's over get off it's over..." He said something else to me but it was a lie so I won't repeat it here. So with a sense of great relief that it was finally over I left the stage and walked to the hotel room. They finished the set with Mike V on vocals. There is much more that can and perhaps should be said. But for now I will spare you the gory details. The writing was on the wall since...

Spin is reporting that Greg Ginn has lost his lawsuit against Flag and Henry Rollins.
Black Flag founder Greg Ginn has lost his lawsuit against FLAG, the spinoff band featuring founding singer Keith Morris and longtime bassist Chuck Dukowski. While FLAG — which also features OG members Dez Cadena and Bill Stevenson, and Descendants guitarist Stephen Egerton — has been out destroying shows like this Redondo Beach Moose Lodge thrasher, Ginn has reformed his own Black Flag unit (this one still called Black Flag) and hit some festivals here and there. Henry Rollins isn't involved in either, but somehow he was named in the lawsuit.

Black Flag co-founder Greg Ginn and SST Records are suing Flag, along with Henry Rollins, alleging Rollins and Keith Morris attempted to patent the Black Flag logo, and name in September of 2012, thus committing fraud.
He sued his 1979-mid 1980s bandmates Friday, seeking an injunction against their current tour, which kicked off in May and will stop in Los Angeles (pending this case) for FYF Fest on August 24. The suit describes the alleged infringement of the logo and name "Flag" as "a colorable imitation" that's "likely to cause confusion, mistake or deception among consumers."

Ever wondered what Refused's The Shape of Punk To Come would look with a Corvo Attano influence? Or Black Flag's logo with Shigesato Itoi's artistic vision? Chris Person decided to create a mash-up of hardcore gaming and hardcore album covers in Photoshop and here's what he and other commenters came up with.
