This week's article is all about righting a wrong, ending a tragedy and generally fixing stuff. It has come to my attention that music has no award show of any type... at all. There's no opportunity to reward the drug addicts who helped us "study" for history finals. Well, no longer! Head over to Can't Keep Up central and feast your brown(?) eyes on The First Annual CANTY's. Or check the whole thing out in the replies.

It's our 5th anniversary over at Can't Keep Up Headquarters, which is a real place and not just a table at Panera Bread. I'd like to think in the five long years since I started this informative and INFORMATIVE article, I've changed a couple of lives. In lieu of naming these forever enlightened persons, I'll just anonymously dedicate the new article to ladies everywhere. Here's to five more years and 100 more five more years. The talk starts here!

I read somewhere (it was either in a magazine or a book) that everything is cyclical. Naturally I laughed that hippie crap off, until I read the same thing (in another magazine or book), and I was like, "Maybe everything is cyclical!" And in the same way that I always wet the bed after watching Home Alone, you have another great, definitely not terrible installment of Can't Keep Up to ingest. This week's topic is secret and certainly the most serious topic yet. I can't promise that it will change your life, but I can certainly promise that it won't change your life. Words and stuff here!

Sadly, I must announce that another version of Can't Keep Up has been completed. This week, the discussion is all about how to create revenue for the beleaguered "music industry." Sometimes the answers are right in front of your ugly face, and other times they are weird and don't seem to make any sense at all. I guess it's up to you to figure out which type of answer belongs in this sticky situation. That's what she said? That's what I said!

Orlando's own, Karrigan, will have live streaming video of the band recording their new demo at Brick & Mortar Sound this Saturday and Sunday on their myspace. The band will also be heading out on a statewide tour through Florida with My Getaway and Blake starting July 27th. Also, for a limited time, you can stream the band' full EP at their myspace.
