Fall Out Boy have buried the hatchet with Blender over their cover story about them.
From the Article"To set the record straight ... I like Blender. I read Blender. ... the cover story dealt with the fact that we are a polarizing band whom people either love or absolutely hate ... and the nature of writing a piece like that is that you're going to have to include some stuff a band doesn't want to hear.

MTV has written an article about the recent Blender story about Fall Out Boy.
From the Article"Did I quit the band? Did I say what appeared in the article? Of course. Eventually they reconciled, but for Wentz, the incident was an eye-opener. "There are some moments where you go, Dude, I've spent the last 28 years of my life as a complete s**t pile.") Guitarist Joe Trohman is also frustrated. "To be labeled a background guy,...

Blender has posted an abridged history of Sub Pop Records. Check it out here.
From the ArticleBruce Pavitt (Sub Pop co-founder): I was at a party next door to my house when I got this intuitive feeling, like, I really gotta go back home. Right as I did that, [Nirvana bassist] Krist Novoselic was walking up my stairway. He's inebriated and he's intimidating and he's demanding a contract. It was very scary. I called up (Jonathan) Poneman and said, "I know we don't have contracts on any bands, but we need to get this guy one."
