Today we've got a short interview with Jenna Miles, co-owner of ShopRadioCast, talking about the new pressing of Blink-182's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. I spoke with her about why the company wanted to get involved with this release, the failed Mightier Than Sword pressing, why they decided to offer a discount to those who preordered from MTS and more. ShopRadioCast will put up their TOYPAJ pressing for preorder on March 12; check out the interview and a timeline of the ordeal of this record release here and discuss it, along with whether you'll be preordering the release, in the replies.

Well, there was certainly some drama last night: Travis Barker (Blink 182) and AJ Maddah (promoter for Soundwave, which Barker is not playing) really had it out on Twitter. A lot of accusations were thrown around, by both sides, before they finally got on the phone and declared it was a "huge" misunderstanding. The post that started it all was an instagram from Travis to his fans apologizing for missing the Australian tour.

Travis Barker will be sitting out Blink-182's upcoming Australian tour due to his fear of flying. Brooks Wackerman of Bad Religion will be filling in.
The trip to Australia was planned during our European tour last summer. The band knew the chances of Travis overcoming his fear of flying, which was magnified after the horrible plane crash in 2008, would be a challenge, but we wanted to play for our fans in Australia nonetheless. The three of us tried all measures to get us all there in full form. Travis has been working to overcome his fear of flying. Since we now know we have to make the trip without Travis our friend Brooks Wackerman (Bad Religion, Tenacious D) has stepped...

Fender has posted up their picks for "top 10 most instantly recognizable guitar riffs" -- pretty hard to argue with most of these, but what would you add? While not anywhere near the classic status of all the songs on this list, I'd say Blink-182's "Dammit" has one of those riffs.

I've posted up our interview with Chris Holmes, the engineer behind the new Blink-182 EP.
From The InterviewI'll echo what I've said before and say that if you're hearing similarities that's natural. The members are the same. I'd say if you listen through the blink catalog you can hear +44 and AVA before +44 and AVA existed.

Blink-182's new Dogs Eating Dogs EP is now available for pre-order on iTunes. I've been listening to it the past few days, and as a huge Blink fan, I'm not let down at all. Took a few listens for it to all set in, getting new Blink music still feels like it shouldn't be happening. There's a lot of dual vocals (although definitely more Tom centric), and a lot of energy ... fans of the band's last two albums are going to love it. I think that "Dogs Eating Dogs" and "Pretty Little Girl" are the two stand-outs ... although the weird spoken/rap part of the latter is taking some getting used to.

We want to wish Tom DeLonge (Blink 182) a very happy 37th birthday. Show him show love over at his Twitter page.

You may have noticed a glaring omission from Patent Pending's Spring Break '99 EP. Sure, they covered such classic artists as Limp Bizkit, Backstreet Boys and Smash Mouth, but when I think of music from 1999, Blink 182's Enema of the State is the first to come to mind. Rather than choose one song from the pop punk classic, Patent Pending recorded a medley of all 12 tracks. Due to legal complications, the band is giving the song away for free. Head to the replies to stream and download the medley.

A while back we posted a list of the 30 wealthiest drummers, and there's also a list of the wealthiest lead singers too.

Gwen Stefani - 80 million
Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge - 60 million each
Billie Joe Armstrong - 55 million
