Fall Out Boy will be debuting the first single from their new, as-yet-untitled album live on November 21st at the American Music Awards. The track is entitled "It Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race," and will ship to radio that night with an impact date set for December 5th. The follow-up to 2005's From Under The Cork Tree will hit stores on February 6th, 2007.

Fall Out Boy just finished a song they wrote pretty much exclusively for their fans and friends. According to their website, "it has one of best surprises I think our band has ever managed to pull off on it." In new album news, the record is done being tracked.

Fall Out Boy have fourteen songs recorded, are going to do two more this week and then will probably call it a day on tracking.
