Standard of Living will be playing their last show this Saturday. They've posted both EPs for $2.99 each as well as a bundle with both EPs and one of the few remaining shirts for $9.99 here. The band's statement is in the replies, and it appears there's a new project on the horizon.

Capital Lights has broken up.
From the BlogIt's crazy to reflect on the last year and a half and realize how much has happened. We signed with Tooth & Nail, recorded an album in Seattle, then toured the country. It was something we all wanted to do and once again, we appreciate you all for helping us live our dream. All of us in Capital Lights are back in school and as of last night, Brett is now engaged. So message him and tell him his life is over. just kidding.

After ten years, four full-lengths, countless DIY tours and basement shows, and a tireless dedication to an independent punk rock ethic, Nakatomi Plaza has decided to call it a day. To say "goodbye" to everyone who supported their band for a decade, they are releasing one last record, Ghosts, in which, today until August 30th - the band will offer to everyone as a free / pay-what-you-like digital release, and subsequently backing it up with a tour. The album will see an official September 29, 2009 release date.

That Was Something have broken up.
Message From the BandHey everyone, we all realize that there has been a lack of updates, lack of tour dates and I guess overall lack of That Was Something. There is good reason for this because there is a light at the end of this tunnel. That Was Something started as kids in high school pursuing their dreams, we have toured the U.S numerous times, released 5 cd's and have had the time of our lives. It sounds so cliche but we honestly could have never done it without the amazing people that have helped us along the way. It does sound like this is going somewhere dark and sad. However this is being written with the utmost positive feelings we have had in...

The High Court have broken up.
Message from the BandTo anyone who has enjoyed our music or our company in the last two + years, I regret to inform you that The High Court will no longer continue as a band. An enormous thanks to Rob Hitt, Alex, Mara, Gaby, Jordan, Brooks, and everyone at I Surrender, Maggie, Eva, and everyone at Fata, Olivier, and Monika for believing in us and making it possible for us to see the country and meet some of the most caring and hospitable people we've ever met.

Thank you to everyone who bought our record, came to see us play, let us party and crash at their place, or anyone who was just cool to us. Also, big ups to 2*Sweet, Asteria, Bedlight, Socratic, LD,...
