From Autumn to Ashes have broken up.
Message from the BandAt this point I feel that we have accomplished everything we could have hoped for with FATA, It doesnít feel much like a break up. Just feels like the end. Itís complete. I would say that we are going on indefinite hiatus because the term breakup suggests a more negative circumstance.

There have been no quarrels between band members. It is also not a question of fan support because we are lucky to have some of the most loyal and impassioned friends a band could ask for. Iíve dedicated almost 9 years to FATA and itís become something of a security for me. Iím looking forward to feeling uncertain and the freedom of starting a new...

Godspeed You! Black Emperor have broken up.
From the ArticleThe Montreal post-rock innovators have called it a day, but not for the reasons of 'musical differences' cited by many retiring bands. Instead, founder Efrin Menuck declared that the band had become untenable due to "an existential freakout" relating to the Iraq war.

The Fire The Flood has broken up.
Message From The BandAfter close to two and a half years we have played music on our own terms. We have had the joy of touring all over the country. We have met tons of wonderful people in bands and fans. However it is with great heartache that I write to inform you that we, The Fire The Flood, is dead. To anyone who came to our show at Lunchbox Records last Friday then you saw our last performance.

If anyone has followed us for any time at all then you would know that we have faced setback after setback and we never let it slow us down. We feel that right now we are all being pulled in different directions and can no longer give 100% to this band.

The Junior Varsity have broken up.
Message From The Band hey guys,

andy here with TJV.

If you've come to a show lately, you've surely been surprised by the current lineup. If you havent heard yet, asa quit the band and weve had our friend brandon carnes covering the lead singer/bass player duty until we decided what we want to do.

As it looks, all the current members of TJV are going to head back to college. So we're sort of putting this thing on the back burner. We might do some shows here and there for fun, but we probably will not be touring as a band again. We have a show on Saturday November 10th at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. Currently, this is our last booked...

In an unfortunate turn of events, Mashlin has decided to call it quits.
Press ReleaseWe have decided it is time to put the band to rest. This was not an easy decision but we feel the time is right to move on to new adventures. We can't say thank you enough to those of you who have supported us in any way over the last 5 years. For those of you in our hometown of Orlando, we will be playing one last show on Saturday, September 15th at the Social. A Perfect Kiss have broken up.
Message From The BandHello APK fans, this is Justin. I sing and play guitar for A Perfect
Kiss. I have some devastating news to say the least.

Recently, Jason, our new drummer, left the band to pursue a future in
the Air Force. In light of that circumstance as well as many other
thoughts and decisions I have pondered immensely and in depth, I have
decided that the time has come that I part ways with A Perfect Kiss as well.
And as a result, A Perfect Kiss as a whole is broken up. It was a
decision that I have been in thought about for a long time, and way before
Jason's departure, or even arrival, to the band. It has been no secret
to the band that...

Versus The Mirror has broken up. Read the two bulletins from the band below.
BulletinOkay, time to address a few situations.

First of all, what you guys are saying is incredibly inspiring and means a lot to us. Thank you!

Secondly, we should be getting our video for "Birthed By Architecture" up soon.

Thirdly, our merch is still available from merchnow.com.

Fourthly, we will update you with the new name very soon!

Fifthly, it's not all the same fellas. VTM has gone through numerous changes and it wouldn't be fair to keep the VTM moniker writing new music with these new cats.

Original BulletinSo here's the deal. After three years of going through many hellish moments,...
