Cartel recently released Collider, and we had a chance to sit down and talk with Will and Joseph a little bit about the past, present, and future of the band. You can check out that interview right here.
Thats it. We put our career in the hands of our fan base. If people want to hear more, they'll buy the record and/or buy a ticket to a show. Beyond that, we have no control. I'd love to continue this as long as possible. Hopefully, a great enough percentage of the folks who have bought our records in the past will do so again and we'll continue on. I don't think we've said everything we have to say or written the songs that would allow us to walk away with no letdown.
Update: The chat is over, thanks to the guys for hanging out tonight.
Cartel won't be releasing Collider until March 26th, but today we're giving you a small taste of what's to come on arguably the best album of the band's career. The track we're premiering is "Uninspired," a mid-tempo rocker that showcases vocalist Will Pugh in total control. He and the rest of the band will also be joining this thread to discuss the song, the upcoming album, and anything else, so stick around for that as well. So check out "Uninspired" in the replies (or the band's AP.net profile) and hang out with the band.
Just wanted to remind everyone that Cartel be chatting here on the website on Monday, January 28th at 7pm EST and we'll be debuting a brand new song ... so, make sure to mark those calendars and come hang out with the band as you get your first taste of Collider.
