In the first episode, he's joined by Bobby Darling of Gatsbys American Dream for an in-depth discussion about the making of the band's 2005 album, Volcano. The Body Rampant's video for "Sativa" is streaming over at PureVolume. The video was directed by Daniel Chestnut (Confide, Norma Jean). If you haven't checked out the record yet, the entire Transient Years EP (produced by Casey Bates) is streaming there as well.

Casey Bates has started a new venture, The Mixing Station, which will allow smaller, unsigned bands the opportunity for high-quality mixes at a lower price. The site just went live and is offering $200/song. Thomas Dutton (Forgive Durden) is also working for the company as an engineer. Check out more here.

Foxy Shazam is currently recording their new album, Introducing Foxy Shazam, with Casey Bates (Chiodos, The #12 Looks Like You). The album is scheduled to hit stores in January through Ferret Music.
